The focus at Adriano Design is to explore the art and process of cast clock design. I have chosen clock manufacturing to create a product that many can enjoy. Clocks are welcome gifts, one of the few items for the home you can give without worrying whether it will fit in with an established decor. Ron Sully, owner of Adriano Design 

For over twenty years I have designed and built fine furniture and accessories: lamps, desks, entry doors, tables, art objects, etc. The work is hard, and after hundreds of hours, I'm left with but one piece of art, and it is always an article that only the affluent or dedicated collector can afford to own. With the desk-sized cast clock designs, I am creating affordable, limited-edition, art objects that anyone can add to their home. 

I design each desk clock on computer with a CAD (Computer Assisted Design) drawing package. When the design is complete, an aluminum mold is machined and the clocks are cast with the lost wax method, one at a time. It is not an inexpensive way to manufacture clocks, but the result is a consistent, high-quality product. I use the best and most appropriate materials available, and charge a fair price for real, limited-production, art objects. In this price range, especially for a clock made in USA, it would be very difficult to find a better value for the money.

Adriano Design clocks are not mass-produced. Character marks that distinguish each piece verify that the high-quality castings were worked by hand and detailed one at a time. I inspect each clock personally. If it meets my standard of quality, it is assembled, stamped and numbered. If it doesn't pass muster, it goes back into the melting pot. I only sell cast bronze clocks that I would be proud to own or share with family and friends.
